Promoting and Improving France’s Business Climate

Improving the attractiveness of France for international investors is a priority for the French government. This commitment has led to the creation of organizations responsible for advising and making recommendations, and also a significant number of specific measures.
During international business events and trade conferences, and via contact with media around the world, IFA has circulated information about and worked to correct preconceived ideas of France. We help provide information that is objective, tangible and relevant to the business community.
IFA actively participates in developing measures in favor of the economic attractiveness of France.
IFA is also responsible for promoting France’s image via a special campaign officially launched by the Prime Minister in June 2004. The image campaign for France targeted five key countries: the US, the UK, Germany, China and Japan. Its main objective was to create a more favorable business environment and communicate a consistent and positive message about the economic attractiveness of France.
In 2007, IFA developed partnerships with local organizations and continued to develop long-term relationships with investors and opinion leaders. Since 2006, IFA has launched a structured public relations effort targeting decision-makers and opinion leaders that consolidated advertising and events by personalized communication of the latest information with high added value: think tank, specialized reports, barometer to measure the image of France among foreign decision-makers, launch of a quarterly magazine “Invest in France”.
The communication efforts led by IFA aim to position France as a welcoming and efficient nation. The tools used include arguments and industry brochures, films and DVDs, reports on “Success Stories”, etc. These promotional materials are used for promotional events, such as Davos, as well as for exhibitions, publications and specialized press.
