Located in southeast France in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur (PACA) region, “Pégase” was created as an innovative cluster in July 2007 and specializes in developing innovative applications for the aerospace and aviation industries.
The cluster has set itself 4 main objectives:
- Revolutionize new aerospace industry application areas and develop new sector offshoots (all-weather helicopter, dirigible drone, electric motor aircraft, “aéroptère” (wing-in-ground effect ferry), etc.)
- To develop, promote and provide a structure to the aerospace and aviation industries in the Provence-Alpes Côte d’Azur region
- To create 10,000 jobs within 10 years and generate turnover of 800 million euros within 5 years
- To offer tools to companies to support their growth and development
