Why did you chose to settle in France?

We decided to settle at Aulnay Sous Bois in the Ile de France region because in 1997 we were about to start creating the first pan European logistics platform. Clearly, we needed to be in France and, clearly, we needed to be in the centre of France, and this region between Roissy and downtown Paris was the right place to start.

What are the advantages of the region?

Clearly, logistics is all about transport and the fluidity of the movement of goods. What we like about this area is the excellent transport choice. We have the airport, public transport, the motorways, the excellent TGV system, and we have the possibility of goods by rail. For us, therefore, again this was a key strategic decision.

What are your next projects?

Prologis will continue to invest in all of the strategic locations for logistics throughout Europe, and Paris is certainly one of them. It is the main consumer basin for France and has 10 million consumers. It is the strategic pole for transport in France.
