The Invest in France Agency at the WEF in Davos

2009-01-28
Davos, Switzerland
Contact: Gwenaëlle HENNEQUIN

The Invest in France Agency (IFA) will participate in the 39th World Economic Forum for the fifth year running.

Held in Davos (Switzerland) from January 28 to February 1, this year's forum has made "Shaping the Post-Crisis World" its key theme.

For its fifth participation in the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, once again, the Invest in France Agency is displaying clearly the priority which France gives to business and the attractiveness of its territory. France is on the move. Never before have there been as many reforms to encourage the attractiveness and openness of France. Over the past two years, numerous and ongoing fundamental reforms are creating a more flexible business environment and a framework that ensures economic sustainable growth.

In 2009, the IFA will carry out its mission to promote France among decision makers from all over the world through one major event: a lunch on Friday 30 January in the presence of the French Minister of Economy, Christine Lagarde.
This lunch, organised jointly with Deloitte, will allow foreign business leaders to take advantage of a moment of constructive and privileged exchange with the Minister on the subject of France's economic policy and attractiveness.
