The cluster concentrates on 3 main areas of technology:

  • Process development for the separation and recycling of materials aimed to improve product efficiency and reduce their impact on the environment
  • Treatment and reusage of waste and materials resulting from industrial processes to reduce their environmental impact
  • Technologies and processes for working in hostile environments (chemical, biological, nuclear, etc.).

Advantages

- Trimatec’s objective is to make use of processes developed by or for the nuclear industry, in other areas of activity. To date, the 69 projects have been certified and applied in 10 different branches of industry.
