Lenze Drive Systems chose France, and the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region in particular, for the following reasons:<br />
- the quality of French transport infrastructure;<br />
- its proximity to Western Europe, LDS’s principal market.<br />
- a local employment catchment area home to many young, qualified professionals;<br />
- the industrial history of the region;<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Microsoft currently employs 1,400 people in France at 10 sites, including 4 in Ile-de-France region.<br />
In Spring 2009, these 4 sites will be merged into a single building in Issy-les-Moulineaux, just outside Paris, at the High Tech Arc-de-Seine cluster. This building, known as EOS, will benefit from the latest construction techniques ensuring thermal and sound insulation.<br />

Jordi Ribas, Managing Director of Search Technology, explains why Microsoft decided to select France:<br />
“The main reasons why Microsoft selected France to host part of our Search Technology Center were the availability of top talents in the industry, top universities, and the maturity of the search market. In addition, another important factor was the fact that there was a significant tax credit available for our R&amp;D investment.”]]></description>

The British airline thus decided to strengthen its presence in the country with its announcement at the end of 2007 with the opening of two new bases at Paris Charles de Gaulle (130 jobs) and Lyon Saint-Exupéry (80 jobs).<br />
The establishment of two new bases creates 210 direct jobs and represents an investment of 600 million euros over four years. The Paris Charles-de-Gaulle airport base is the company’s 18th European base.]]></description>
