Located in the west of France in the Pays-de-la-Loire region, the national « Atlantic Biothérapies » cluster is specialized in the field of Biotherapies. Biotherapies form a « therapeutic arsenal » made up of: Cell and gene therapies, Immunology, Biomaterials, Radio-pharmaceuticals.

From its creation in 2005, the goal of the cluster has been to become an international benchmark in the development of diagnostic and treatment solutions in the biotherapy field.

30 approved projects since December 2005, representing a global budget of more than 55 million euros (see appendix)

The Inter-ministerial Joint Fund (FUI) has awarded more than 4 million euros of funding for these projects
The French National Research Agency (ANR) has awarded more than 8.5 million euros of funding
