The Invest in France Agency (IFA) today convened a meeting of its "Indian Investors Club" to check on the progress of invited companies that have started doing business in France.
Greeted by His Excellency Mr. Rakesh Sood, the Indian Ambassador to France, Mr. Dan Oiknine, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry France-India (CCIFI) and Mr. David Appia, Chairman and CEO of the IFA, the participating Indian companies and leading figures from both countries were joined by officials from various French authorities to discuss the international mobility of Indian company directors and skilled employees.
Also on the agenda were discussions concerning France’s innovation and technology partnership environment, including the French government’s "National Investment Program". Several Indian companies that have started doing business in France, such as Deltronix and TCS France, related their experiences.
In the presence of Mr. Anupam Srivastava, Managing Director of "Invest India", the IFA’s partner in India, and Mr. Dominique Frachon, the Director of the IFA’s New Delhi office, this seminar was marked by the signature of a partnership agreement between the CCIFI and the IFA that will enable the two organizations to further develop Franco-Indian relations, notably by providing support to investors.
